Holding a tulip

This time a very cute, little card. I used my brandnew stamping platform (yeaaaah!) because several layers had to be stamped on the exact right spot.

First I stamped the paws and masked them, which is almost a mission impossible. They are so small they hardly stick to the paper. I then stamped the tulip. I removed the tiny paw mask and masked the tulip before stamping the mouse. I colourized the mouse and tulip with Coloursoft pencils. '

My first thought was to add doodles, but I suddenly came up with the idea to stamp the tulip in every corner. The leaves are not stamped, they are hand-drawn. Colourized them as well. I used a black pencil on the paper edges.

  5. I'll try again! Just love that little mouse, must have been quite some challenge to mask those tiny paws but you did a brilliant job. Fabulous design and colouring too.

    1. Thank you so much Chris, for both your lovely comments on my card and your effort to leave me a comment, I've noticed your first comment didn't come through, must be a blogger thing? I really appreciate!
